My mother was very intuitive, and in that respect I take after her. I have always listened to, and trusted, my intuition and instinct.
Around ten years ago I began to explore this side of myself more deeply, training in Shamanism and Feminine Energy Medicine.
Know Thyself isn’t therapy, and it doesn’t pretend to be. But it draws on over sixty years of living – navigating through darkness and light – and around twenty years of sitting with people while they find their way through something difficult.
Old Mother Dark – the ancient of ancients – and the Melissae, the bee priestesses said to have kept the earth in harmony for two thousand years, are the guides I lean on to hold this work. I don’t ask anyone to believe in them. I ask them to sit with what comes up, see what it tells them, and trust their own spiritual authority.
The course is held online, in small groups of no more than eight women or one-to-one, so you can join from anywhere in the UK and beyond.
Know Thyself is held by Karen, who has spent over two decades in clinical mental health work – this is not a course built around ritual alone.
